The budget dust has settled and the final cuts to faculty and staffs are finalized for the upcoming 2009-10 Peninsula College school year. Everyone that remains now takes up the slack of the 31 full- and part-time positions that no longer exist. In addition 19 part-time faculty course loads were reduced for the upcoming year.

Tanya Knight is the student speaker for the 2009 graduation ceremony.
She is graduating in the first Bachelor of Applied Science class with a 3.92 GPA.
But this is not her first degree from Peninsula College. Six years ago Knight received an Associate of Applied Science degree from PC and then was hired by the college in the Internet and Technology Department.
