Students strut their stuff on stage

The Winter Quarter Talent Show was hosted on February 10,was where many students took the stage and presented their skills in competition. First place went to the vocal talent of Cari Lusk and Ashley Konopaski, second place to the trio of Mike Kochanek, John Mangiameli, and Fariss Ryan, and third place to the band Man of the Woods consisting of Daniel Steilquist, Joe Barrett, and Jake Werrien.

After three years of doing small, sometimes unpaid shows at AA meetings, bars and nudist colonies, Geoff Keith finally got his big break. In 2006 he had the chance to work at the Sacramento Punchline Comedy Club where Pablo Francisco was also working.

In 1982 the Tony Award winner Maury Yeston's (Titanic, 1997) and Arthur Kopit wrote the musical "Nine", based off of a 1963 film 8½ directed by Federico Fellini. The musical "Nine" received Tony Awards for Best Musical, Best Score, and Best Revival of a Musical.
