Cultural exchange between ESL and nursing students

An intercultural exchange opportunity between Peninsula College nursing and English Second Language ESL students occurred June 4 at the Pirate Union Building. ESL and nursing program were working together before; they both want to support the academic success.

Starting in the fall, students from as far away as Neah Bay and La Push will have a way to get to campus for free. On Friday June 4, PC students approved the bus pass proposal, 102 for and 13 against. The goals of the bus pass are to teach people to use public transportation, to reduce the college's carbon emission, and to save students commuting costs.
