Peninsula College's 2009 annual student art show had more than 60 pieces entered ranging from color pencil to wire sculpture. Peninsula College President Thomas Keegan and Fredrick Wardy, a New York artist were the judges. The art show consisted of five categories and three honorable mentions. The PC Foundation and the judges contributed the prize money. "Diverse in terms of medium, overall a nice show," said Bill Merrill, PC art instructor. "Art for me is my expression of gratitude. My art is my 'thank you' to God for my mind to think, my eyes to see, my heart to feel. That is what I try to put into my art," said Molly Gort, student artist. Linda kemp's picture "Who's Looking?"is excellent! IT LOOKS SO REAL! She is an excellent artist!
