"Hallelujah" is obviously a traditional Christmas song. Because of Alexandra Burke, the winner of a British music talent competition "X Factor", this song was the most popular song during 2008's Christmas in Britain.
Undoubtedly, Alex's fabulous voice makes the song more infective. However, a huge choir is indispensable too. In the middle part of the song, Alex and the choir sing together, and they simultaneously make the song more powerful.
Beyond these reasons, I also like a profound lyric from the song. "Love is not a victory march, it's cold and it's a broken Hallelujah?"
The first time I listened to this song was in last December. I could feel the enthusiastic atmosphere of Christmas, and some childhood memories were suddenly emerging in my mind.
Every time when I listen to it again, it's hard to forget Alex's sayings, story and voice. I never forget the message that she wanted to send to the people all over the world; which is "never giving up on your dream ever."
Until now, "Hallelujah" is one of the songs motivates me to reach my goal even I am facing diverse challenges. Because Alexandra Burke was a perfect example to prove that impossible is nothing.
