It has not been looking so hot for the Lady Pirates. But this past Saturday the girls pulled ahead with a win against Shoreline with a score of 68-55. It may have been a tough start, because there is only one returning player Dena Houser.
It may take a while for all the new ladies to become comfortable. With more practice and communication on the courts, the girls will improve and become more comfortable "Right now, we are getting better every game, but we need to get over the hump and start finding our identity as a basketball team", says head coach, Alison Crumb.
